Stuck at Home

The way the fanart depicts it, those grey people are what Homestuck is all about. They just exploded in popularity around DevArt here and I finally asked what all the hubbub is about. I find someone's webcomic and attempt to read what seems to have nothing to do with those grey people with candy corn horns. I don't make it far before giving up.

I tried again more recently and managed to get myself a foothold in the story. I still find it weird and don't appreciate the profane language, I also think these kids are freaks and I still haven't seen hide or tail of those grey people in the hundred, or so, pages of progress I've made. And I also find The Matrix easier to comprehend. But, I'm slowly making my way through this story and hope to understand it a little better.

Anyways, these are John, Rose, Dave, and Jade. Jade is, by far, my favorite character in the story; although she's still a bit of a nut.
